Bahia's belong to 22 Villages Group of Royal Patiala Estate. In 1930 Bahia Fort was official family residence of royal armed forces of Patiala Estate. In 1980 it was converted into luxurious hotel with wonderful blend of traditional and modern architecture and started as non-star hotel, but with regular up gradation of property, In year 2000 by Government of India. Hotel Bahia Fort was awarded first 4 star hotel of this region. In year 2009 it is re-approved as 4 star by Govt. of India.
